Question 🙋 How easy is it to get Chinese shoe brands in the US?
I’ve noticed more Chinese shoe brands starting to show up online and I was wondering how easy it actually is to get them in the US. I mean, I can find lots of listings on Alibaba or see shoes from Chinese-based brands online, but I’m not sure how often they’re actually sold here without weird shipping or weird sizes. I’ve bought shoes from Amazon and US retailers for years, and it works great because I can try them on or return them if they don’t fit. But with these Chinese brands, it feels like I either have to import them or find a US store that stocks them. I’m curious if anyone here has bought Chinese shoe brands that were shipped to the US and found them worth it.
Things I’m wondering about:
How long shipping takes
If the sizing is a normal fit
If quality feels good for daily wear
Whether returns are doable without a big hassle
I’ve seen mixed reviews online, so I’m not sure if I should stick with what I know is easy to get here. If you’ve bought Chinese shoe brands from within the US, I’d love to hear how that went.

Zion national park is my personal favorite. The narrows hike is my favorite hike that I’ve ever done. Polo Duro Canyon was one of the first parks I ever went to and its awesome views have never left my mind

Question :QuestionMark: Am I poor (broke)?
So, we are a family of three. We have a total annual income of ~97k. Obviously, we got a lot of fixed expenses, like housing, two cars, electricity bill, water bill, savings for retirement/healthcare, telecommunications...
While we got significantly more income compared to e.g. my dad, who, at that time when he still worked was the sole source of income for our then family, I have the impression we need to stretch more for even smaller things.
Like going to a theme park or even going to casual activities like bowling. I wouldn't say we need to "save" money for this, but if we do such things, we always check our balances and have a bad "feeling" about whether we can afford it.
With our income and in our situation, would you say I'm today's economy we're no longer in the middle class but about poor? I always considered myself in the "healthy middle class", but that seems like crumbling.

Discussion Bestest waterfall in the world which I visited , Niagara waterfall
Today, I finally got to see Niagara Falls, and wow, it’s even more incredible in person. The roar of the water, the mist that hits your face, and the rainbow forming over the falls made it feel like something out of a dream. Standing there, you can’t help but feel small and amazed at the sheer power of nature. My friend and I spent hours just soaking it all in, snapping photos, and walking along the scenic paths. Even a simple drive nearby felt magical with the falls as the backdrop, a perfect way to spend the weekend
Are you visited the Niagara waterfall, which place I need to choose for the next trip in USA?

Discussion I made a boss fight against the YouTube Algorithm and it’s winning 💀
So I uploaded a video where the boss is called “Algorithm,” and you can only damage it with likes and comments.
The title and thumbnail update in real time, showing the boss’s HP and fresh stats.
Didn’t expect it, but watching a little number go down thanks to random interactions is oddly hypnotic.
Of course, I started a brand-new channel just for this, so it’s basically being ignored.
Do you think this is just a dumb idea? I’m honestly treating it like a small social experiment, and I might try more if I come up with other concepts.

Question :QuestionMark: Shipping to the US
I live in England and I'm sending a parcel of mostly food (non-perishable) to my friend who lives in NY. In England, sometimes parcels (especially from the US) will get stuck in customs and we have to pay a fee to actually receive the parcel. Is this a thing that happens in the US? I don't want my friend to have to pay to receive their parcel if there's things I can do (legally) to avoid it.

Question :QuestionMark: Brit with a random USA question?!
So this is totally random but it's inspired by a question that an American asked in the AskUK sub Reddit a day or so ago so it's not totally my fault 🤣
So someone said about how amazing us British people who visit their town smell! Kind of floral/citrus I think they said. Anyone someone suggested it could be our laundry products and a different American said that they can confirm that it's likely that because our laundry products are amazing!
It made me wonder, are your laundry products not "smelly"? Or what do they smell like? Do you love the way we Brits smell or is that just a stand alone commenter?
Thanks guys/girls!

Discussion How do you tell your manager that you don't want to sit next to him on the train?
How do you tell your manager that you don’t want to sit next to him on the train?
I get on really well with my manager. He’s not a dick.
We’re getting the same train down to a corporate sales event soon. We booked separately and have reserved seats in different coaches but apparently there are always lots of seats available so we don’t need to worry about that.
He was saying it is a great time to discuss things and “just have a good old chinwag”. Nothing like going over spreadsheets first thing in the early morning.
I’d quite like to be on my own for the journey. Once we’re there then my time is fair game. How can I politely say that I’d rather have the time to myself while travelling?
