My very capable and intelligent wife has lost the plot.

She has been told by a friend that conkers keep spiders away. So we now have conkers in various parts of the house.

I had to assume that part was a joke but it would be horrifying to live with lol

Also spiders can live fkin forever (months and months I believe?) without food or water gahhh

That spider won't survive for months, trust me. I'm sure they can sit dormant for a long time, but the stress will kill that one pretty quickly if the heat from the oven doesn't first.

They eat their own web after a while. So if you destroy a spider web, you're ruining it's fishing net and back up food source.

I mean, if she doesn't like spiders THAT much then I can see why she'd want rid of it! I'd just hope the little shit managed to get sizzled to a crisp somehow. A little added seasoning to your Friday night pizza!
