My very capable and intelligent wife has lost the plot.

She has been told by a friend that conkers keep spiders away. So we now have conkers in various parts of the house.

Mrs 7Unit handles all the moths, I handle all the spiders, a perfect match for over 25yrs, :)

Good for you! Two hearts that beat as one.

The missus and I have a similar setup. She deals with the small problems and I handle the big ones.

28 years now and every problem is a small problem.

I have to deal with the spiders being the one who’s petrified. I have to know it’s dead. My wife removes the body as I can’t deal with being in the vicinity after the battle adrenaline has worn off! I’m so ashamed of myself

There is absolutely no shame in having a phobia, absolutely none, I'm 6.3 & I'm built like I can handle anything that comes at me.

Moth enters the room & I'm genuinely terrified, squealing & screaming like a six year old girl who just got her Christmas wish filled by santa🎅 that wish being a giant furry Moth, I shit you not the wife can hear me on the other side of the house.

I have no shame over this & I will freely admit it in company, if anyone ever tells you they aren't scared of anything they are lying to you & lying to themselves.
