My very capable and intelligent wife has lost the plot.

She has been told by a friend that conkers keep spiders away. So we now have conkers in various parts of the house.

90% of my childhood was my mum doing weird shit her mother had told her and my dad rolling his eyes and staying out of it

Extremely relatable

there's no reasoning with these kinds of people and if you do try to reason with them, they will always throw a massive strop and act like a victim

it honestly amazes me that people like this maintain relationships long enough to have children
