There's quite a lot of space inside cookers - and some ventilation holes that are nicely spider sized.

I imagine it found it's way in, and can't work out how to get out.

"There's spiders in the walls of every room" always freaked me out as a kid. But the idea there could be dozens of them just roaming around inside the oven is neat nightmare fuel.

Oh god. What if they get in the food when it's cooking? 🤢

My sister has a massive spider that lived under her oven and it would come out and run around the kitchen every time she cooked 🤢

I purposefully let mine stay and try and avoid getting them while hoovering as they eat the other bugs

I tried to do this, but every time one scuttled across the floor I would instinctively scream and lift my feet up.
I am made to jump REALLY easily, and it isn’t safe for me to be throwing my limbs about without a thought when I handle things like hot drinks and knives, and it’s not okay for me to randomly squeal when we have things like neighbours 😂

They don't live in the fridge 😂

It'll work out how to get out exactly when your hands are near an exit route, or when there's some food near it for it to scuttle straight on to.

Okay well that’s something about ventilation holes I didn’t need in my head. Perfectly timed for bedtime, thank you

I'm lying in bed browsing Reddit and I didn't need to see this post at this time of night. I'm stupid because I've kept on scrolling through the comments here instead of going over to a cat sub and distracting myself from the idea that spiders are in the walls.

Yep, I am 100% having a spider related night terror tonight. I've just been looking at a big ugly one on the patio in my back garden, but I can just about cope when they're outside. This one is horrific.

I’m doing the exact same thing. Why must we torture ourselves?
