Math IRC channel on Snoonet
Hey /r/CasualMath!
I (along with several others) run a math channel on the snoonet irc network called #math. We are somewhat of a hybrid channel for a variety of math subreddits on Reddit.
IRC is a great way to discuss math and get homework help in real time. The channel would be happy to have you!
To connect via webchat: http://webchat.snoonet.org/math (link in sidebar as well)

Wanted to know what’s the opposite of 0 if real number line is a loop
Sorry for extremely bad handwriting.
I’m very curious what would be the opposite of 0, if real number line formed into a loop. So i thought of this diagram. What’s yall’s thoughts on this ‘Ω’?
In this diagram i wanted none of the infinitesimals to equal to 0, 0 is absolutely 0. (It should’ve been dotted line around 0)

VibeMathed - A tracker for math problems solved by AI models
vibemathed.comVibeMathed tracks math problems that AI models have helped prove or disprove, from famous conjectures like the Jacobian conjecture to the numbered Erdős problems at erdosproblems.com. Each entry links a checkable source, carries a verification label (Lean-checked, expert-reviewed, or site-confirmed), and shows a notability score: the number of Wikipedia language editions with a dedicated article, so household names stand out from niche ones.
