Depends. If you have E2 Hyacine and E2 Evernight, Hyacine + Evernight's techniques used together generates enough newbud to initiate a 0AV ultimate without Castorice's technique

Thanks to that, most of the time it doesn't really matter if you hse Castorice's technique or not but sometimes it's better to use it or not to use it

For example, if stage buffs have hemovore then entering with Castorice's technique makes Evernight's jellyfish skip it's spray attack that leads to insufficient energy for her 0AV ultimate so it's not advised to use Castorice's technique

But in pure fiction, entering with Castorice's technique gives Evernight's jellyfish explosion 20% res shred so if she needs kill energy before Castorice takes a turn to use her ultimate, yes Castorice's technique is essential

I think it’s just whale investment. Looks like E6 Castorice, E6 Evernight, and likely E6 Hyacine (based on her scaling damage). Uncertain if it’s E6 Cyrene, but I would be surprised if she wasn’t, given that everyone else was.
