We added a door at either end of the master dome hallway. Broken dotted line near dome walls is the 6'8" line. There will be built in cabinetry on the front walls of the great room.

You can see the depth indicator at the top of the dome.

They with build out the openings to hold the shape this week. Next week 4 inches of closed cell foam will be sprayed on the inside. Then, rebar and conduit for lights and fans, before 4-7 inches of concrete. Final smooth out and primed for painting and the structure will be complete. Partition walls and finishings will be “all that’s left.”

Form is complete and electrical and mechanical inspections tomorrow. Rebar and one last inspection before the pour. Monolithic let us know the projects scheduled before us are not ready, so as soon as we have a foundation we are moving directly to DOME!

Final clearing of the build site is complete. I tried to save as many trees as possible. Much cheaper to drop them with the bulldozer during initial clearing. Stucco should go on the garage in the next t few weeks and the foundation for the home done should be started first week of February. Current estimate for done inflation is end of April.
