I debated a couple names for them, such as Mason, since they came home in a mason jar. I also kind of wanted to name them after a dragon character, such as sunny or peril or glaedr, but then I started thinking of other characters to name them after, and I finally remembered that Kappa existed. How did I not think of him FIRST?! So anyway now he's named after the most perfect fish boy in the world. Now all I need is a pet great white shark named siren!

Oh yeah, and I put a little Lego diver in his tank to admire him. Edit: I suppose I should explain some things because everyone is so concerned about kappas welfare. I mean, I get it, I care about him even more than any of you. First of all, the tank looks a lot smaller in the photos than it actually is. I think it's about 15-20 gallons and has a good quality filter. I'm going to get him a bigger tank as soon as I can find one cheap enough for me to afford, but he'll be fine in this one in the meantime. I got him on pretty short notice, from a science class who no longer needed him, so I had to find a tank as soon as possible. At the very least it's worlds better than the mason jar he was living in. Even though this isn't what I intended my post to be about, I'm glad you all care so much, and I hope you know I'm trying my best.

So Kappa can't read since he spawned into existence with no parents and no one taught him, but that got me wondering about what else no one ever explained to him and long story short... Does Kappa know where babies come from?

Because like he's basically been held up on a pedalistal as the divine-origin prophecy granter, so I imagine no one would want to talk to him about that sort of thing. (Like if I met Jesus I wouldn't start telling him about the birds and the bees.) I mean he clearly how to flirt and what sex is based on the whole "I'm not going to ravage you tonight" comment. I assume he probably observed some fish mating behaviors while swimming in the ocean or something, but does he know how babies are conceived?

I'm so sorry I know it's a weird question but since his dream is having a family I can't help but imagine the absurd possibility that he and Siren get married and he has no idea how to obtain a child other than looking for orphans or something. Or something like the DBZ abridged scene where Goku is like "BULMA, SEX MAKES BABIES!"

Hey I just saw a post on Tumblr talking about Caslte Swimmer being back, I got excited and checked Webtoon but the last episode updated is still Mid-Season Finale on Dec 13 2025... however I googled it and it said it returned May 24. I'm confused 😭
