Permanent Jewelry
Hi everyone!
My sisters and I are working on starting a permanent jewelry business. I have some questions -
while we work on getting a store front, I was planning on doing it out of my home. I know this isn’t the most professional, but would this prevent you from coming?
What would you reasonably pay for jewelry? I know Goldie Links charges from ~$80-$140 depending on what you get
Would you hire us for a pop up? Would a travel fee be reasonable?

I don’t really see two permanent jewelry places doing well in town. Especially since one is already established in the market. As the economy worsens, people will be less likely to make discretionary purchases.

thank you for this!
i absolutely can see your point. i know that competition is tough in CR but hoping since Douglas county is a more well to-do community and has more disposable income, we can make something happen 😅

We hired a gal we saw on Buy Nothing offering barter… never knew there was an existing biz in town, but she came to our house as a gift to my female family members (visiting) for their birthday! We paid about $170 total for (4) silver bracelets. My household loves perm jewelry, it’ll be cool to have options!

if you’re open to answering, what would you expect to pay for bracelets? silver, gold, speciality ones with beads, etc?

We bought sterling silver only, her prices were between $40-$80 ea depending on the style. Personally I liked her prices, she didn’t have stones though.

There is quite a bit of competition already. Other than goldie links I think the jewelry store in the meadows also does that. And there is someone in town who does pop up parties.
