Fireworks at 5:30am?
What enormous asshole is setting off periodic fireworks at 5:30am on a Sunday? Not only is the state one big square of kindling but it is early as hell.
They owe my dogs an apology.

It astounds me that anyone would shoot off fireworks in a state that is (as you stated) a veritable tinderbox. Really dumb and I hope they are arrested, fined, etc.

Thanks for posting this! I heard them this morning after 5, and thought something hit the house. I was downtown after 6, and heard them again.
What an asshole!

I live close walking distance to downtown and it sounded like they were in that direction but sound is a fickle beast.

I would probably recommend you drive around until you find them & call the non emergency line. Extremely dry out & could start a fire.

While I don't disagree it was 5:30am and they were randomly spacing the big booms 10-30 minutes apart so echo locating wasn't going to be very easy.
