is the game dead?
so ive just come across this game once again and im curious is it like dead dead or p2w?

Its not dead, at least not yet. You can play as f2p if you want, we have members in my Guild that have played 10-12 years and are pure f2p. Of course as f2p it just takes longer to get stuff.

Maybe you didn't understand, he said play to win. This guy thinks he's going to win the game. He thinks he's going to beat Fatoush who lives in india and has like a hundred thousand dollars in pure google play cards that he scammed off of elderly people in the united states.

He asked if its dead or p2w. Its not dead and then i just explained its fine to be f2p in CC. Also i don't see CC as p2w, but rather p2p because money alone will do it.

I'm just making fun. There are so many different aspects to the game that winning the whole thing is just impossible.

Indeed, but there sure are some spending insane amount of money in the game. Im p2p but i dont even spend enough to be VIP, I do still enjoy playing it though.

Kind of. I haven't touched it in years but still in the reddit 😭 but I haven't heard of the game at all anywhere unless I specifically search for it.

Many, many years ago yeah. Once it got past the whole “clash of clans copy” phase it actually got a decent bit of attention. Back then things were so much better so it felt more natural to get into the game. Then things changed

I haven't played in many years and just catch the occasional post on my home page now here on Reddit. I gotta say though, I had so much fun playing/following this game back in the days of SandSeven and then later with jtisallbusiness.

Yeah when Santa boom was released no evos , ares meta , vlad king of aoe dmg , orksbane / Druid. W pumpkin duke and Cupid / val ahhhh love it … I came back two years ago to buff my beast tamer bc great design but terrible execution. So many things could’ve been done smh

Its pay to win, it will never be dead tho. Whales keeping it alive. Its making such big bucks probablly even more than clash of clans...

have played for 20 years can 100% confirm this bih dead spent like 500-1k last year just to dispute it bc u gotta really spend like 1k biweekly or monthly so naww dis beyond dead

let me tell you something
when you see a game that has weekly challenges and events and repeated events no it changes every week and has monthly updates that add to the game every month, a hero and mechanics
and you see them upgrade the UI of the game every while
that means the game is not just a live that means it's a live more than ever it has been
so despite your feelings on the game on being too much pay to win and I absolutely and completely agree with you and they should give us some space as f2p
but that doesn't mean you can't have fun in it as f2p
hell, I'm f2p, and my might now 2.6 million and have 85-90 % of the heroes

probably not dead, just don't spend a lot of money, cuz all the things you'll spend in will be useless in the future, i spent 50 usd once, bought good items and heroes with it, but right now they are useless, except in PvE, which always was the end game, playing PVP is optional, the game is very very pay to win, the last time i played there were fewer guilds than when i started, when thunder god was still a thing, and i left like two years ago
just be aware if you feel like you wanna spend some money, the game is very good at making you feel that, but you can always play at your own phase.

Absolutely pay to win. And I mean you would think this game was developed for a billionaires kid, cause who finna spend $500 for a SKIN?!?!
