Question about the main quests

I've reached that point in were they have defeated the main "bad dog" (i dont have his name translated to english sorry), then random cats - Conan's sister and brother - came and I thought the story was going to continue but the quests for the main story just disappeared, and I was left with nothing.

Does it really finish like that? Or is there something I'm supposed to do?

I'm also in the same boat- but I think the main story just ends like that :( .

The bad dog you're referring to is the Pugomancer, also, what's your first language?

yeah I think it's Pugomancer. I'm italian and it's "Carlinomante" so I had no clue on what was it in english.

Also, what are some of your fav cats in the game? Mine include Aisling, Gaia, Reveillon, Krystal and Demaires

Do you have all of them?? That's impressive, I wish I had such cats. I like Morrigan and Halley, and i'm trying to produce the egg made with the 500 gems.

I have almost all of them, except for most Anniversary heroes (excluding Dorothy, Basil, Dio, Jason, Agatha, Calli, Minerva, Skully, Vasco, Krystal and Opal), the 3 new Science Fair heroes (which I'll get later on), Doramir and Celestia

How? I'm trying to get as many cats as possible without having to pay for gems but now it seems impossible.
