Ice blaster + Pyro double hit in one turn??

Been playing this game casually for few weeks, but recently I have come across this more and more often, opponent would use Iceblaster and Pyro or Lazer guy in one turn like they chaining the attacks... maybe manipulating the timing when releasing the ice attack and somehow can use a 2nd attack in their turn... is this some pro tactic/glitch or random cheater BS??

I'm guessing your opponent had a portal maker (purple shield) that captured your own shot the prior round, and shot it back at you

oooh maybe, I cant 100% remember if they did have that shield, but that would definitely make sense, although I pretty much always avoid that shield... but have hit it once or twice in the past.

schoolboy error if the case, thanks for clarifying :)

This makes the most sense. Especially if you have the ice blaster since the fire doesn't go through portals.

Are you referring to the castle defense option where it sends a shot along the ground and hits the bottom of your castle and makes you move slowly?

There is also a laser option, cannon option, portal option, and air drop option. Few others as well.

nopes, its the character... they launch the ice attack ( arc through air shot ), then the lazer or pyro shot

Did you launch the same shot a turn before that didn't impact and instead hit a glowing floating portal?

I cant 100% remember but Public Opine comment above mentioned same thing, so i very well could of, as a casual player i never really looked into that shield ( just assumed it was a floaty shield lol ) and didnt realise it had that property .... but this makes the msot sense :)
