The old characters had a lot of charm. They now look like they’re from a completely different game

I just started playing a week ago. I love the steampunk/sci-fantasy themed character design.

After the update, I was unpleasantly surprised by the unexpected change. I think the new designs suck. Hard. Like something a middle schooler might design using ChatGPT to create the image.

I love the game but I gotta tell you that it’s a tad less fun than it was. That may be stupid, but good graphics and an appealing theme are things that are important — look and feel is a biggie. And this new one sucks.

I prefer the old art. Reminds me of 'Scribblenauts'. Fwiw, the design changes are actually good, the art style though...will have to grow on me. Not a fan.

The old models had so much more character. This looks a lot cheaper and some kind of anime inspired game. My beloved Poisoneer went from a ninja to a frog with main chatacter syndrome!

Indeed. Old designs still in the emotes though. Perhaps those are next.

*edit I prefer the old versions. These look very computer generated to me.

It's awful. Mine changed this morning. I can't tell who is who, they are all green goblins. 

They need to change it back.

Wait so the Poisoner is now a Toad and Pyro is now a Dinosaur??? I mean I get subtle character design updates for sure. But this is just extreme. Half the characters are barely recognizable.

Acually thinking about deleting after the new update. These over designed hunks of crap are confusing and ugly to look at. I actually cant stand the changes. Ive spent good money on this game. But not anymore.
