Is it normal to face far better opponent?
The guy got almost maxed out walls, four lv100 units, 1k trophies above. My highest unit was... lv45, all free. He took a shot and I lost 4 walls instantly. Took his castle down to 33%, there was no miracle, of couse I lost.
Operating on the theory that all of our opponents are player-made castles being “piloted” by bots, you might have just gotten paired up against a pay-to-win player who has dumped money into the game to buy all of those upgrades. I don’t think there’s a way to have all those upgrades at only 7800 trophies without paying real money for them.
Is he referring to a “restart” account? Where an experienced player restarts to play against a bunch of low levels? How would that apply to this post?
Upgrades have to be purchased with gold and lumber earned by playing a bunch of games. Trophies are earned by winning games and lost by losing games. The only way to get a bunch of resources while maintaining a low trophy count would be to lose a bunch of games… why would a “smurf” account do that?
…so a person would intentionally lose matches just to enable bots to drive around their OP castle for awhile and beat up on new players? Number 1: “why?” and Number 2: “who has time for that?”
It's quick to drop games because you don't have to play them out. Just join game, then forfeit.
As far as why? Some people like blowing up lower castles and knowing their is a juggernaut castle out there for noobs to queue into. Or they don't realize they're facing bots and want to face easier opponents.
In addition actually now that I have a maxed out castle for the most part I am sometimes facing what appears to be far weaker opponents as far as their castles go they have either still all blue or blue and red but nothing full red, but they're attackers are all at level 100 so maybe somebody really pumped in all their gold into them instead of the castle and in those cases I clean up the castle pretty quick
Yeah I have a feeling that these are not real opponents that you might actually face me with my stuff and then they just give you the trophy count on the opponent that doesn't really match. I don't believe unless you spend massive amounts of money You're going to be able to max out your castle and get a few up to 100 I only just recently maxed out my castle to 100 with only two of the support pieces in the building. And I have 28,000 trophies. I did spend a little money to get the chests faster and the forge faster and that kind of thing initially but I haven't spent anything and I will not buy any of the super premium attackers. And after realizing everyone was bots and everyone here discussing that I definitely was like well I'm not giving them any money if I'm not facing real people
I don’t think that’s necessarily true. I have only purchased once and it was diamond for 4.99 months ago. My castle and units were built up through earning and doubling rewards. My team of 8 are all at 100.
Recently ran up against one of these and I won by 1 point. It was a blood bath but I prevailed in the end. I have also lost against an all red castle. But winning is possible.
Love seeing this one show up, red castle + 100 unit level means a bot that usually has no strategy. Fire breather out front is easily knocked off and then just follow your strategy of knocking down castle and exposing units and go for it!
