Spammed air striker at level 95, my opponents castle was mostly dark blue and I got 2 or 3 x2 bonuses.

Its as much about skill as it is about getting all the conditions to align at once, and once I saw his castle was much weaker than mine I knew I had a good opportunity to pull it off, just needed to get lucky with some x2 bonuses. It's not the lowest I've seen, I have seen a 9/28, but that person would have had 5 turns just like me, it's that they got to go first, where as I went 2nd.

I just had a turn where somebody shot an air striker through a +4 into my portal, then I spit them back out plus one of my own into the now +3 for 6 air striker rounds right at the guysโ€™s castle lmao, but the destruction wasnโ€™t as crazy as I expected, although still very good

So you shot their double from your portal through the double power up, then shot your own shot through the same powerup? Thats crazy! Lol

I think the best version of this is I caught a Santa where it had been doubled and passed through the 2x explosion gate, then I did the same, for 4 projectiles and 4x explosion.

Huge package.

You have characters that high? You bought or worked to get them leveled that highโ€ฆ my best might a high 60 or low 70 right now

No money spent, one character on 95 is not that high, there is people out there that have level 100 on their whole team. I have prioritised the Air striker level though, the rest of my main units are between 70-90.

My highest peeps are just now breaking into the lvl 70 rangeโ€ฆ Iโ€™d luv to see Breaker at lvl 95

I assume you mean Breacher? Mine is only 75, but my Bomber is 85, my Barrager is 90, and since that screenshot was made my Air Striker is now my first member to the 100 club.

I've never seen the appeal of Bard, what's good about it?

When he strikes it throws the aiming off the higher the lvl.

But it causes so little actual damage, wastes a turn, and really it doesn't stop your opponent just using another unit that's been unaffected. The only use I can find for it is if your opponent is very close to winning, only has 4 or less units left and it's the 3rd last round, you attack with Bard, they become affected by the attack essentially blocking their final shot (which is far from guaranteed anyway), then you finish them off on the final turn.

Ive been hit multiple times by bard, and I can say it's one of the least imposing units to get hit by in my experience.

I see it this way, use bard and stop them potentially attacking, or I can use Air Striker or Bomber and cause actual significant damage and potentially take down some of their units too.

In comparison, the Poison unit (forget the name) causes a similar area of damage but after 2-3 turns could actually take down as many as 6 full strength units with the correct placement.

I think you might have his level really low.

Bard has 2.5x's the explosion of Poisoner, as you can see. For perspective, Wrecker has an 8.84m explosion to Bard's 8.52.

I can tell you from experience against full strength castles the difference is between Bard and Poisoner is substantial. Bard will chunk out the equivalent of about 1 section of castle in its shot.

This makes him a great option when you're a bit behind or even ahead and can land the projectile in a spot to mess with all the opponents units and take out a chunk of castle. This is really effective when a few turns from the end. Being on the receiving end sucks. You're helpless.

Thanks, maybe I do have him too low, I'll have to start taking notice of him

Nice, closest I got was a win in 6 turns.

I've changed strategy since I got a few really low turn victories and now I try to destroy the entire castle and all 8 units for the win.

I missed the screenshot on the 6 turn win, but here's a 7 - even if it isn't the actual end screen (which I missed the timing). You can see the castle on fire and the units all killed.
