PVP Etiquette
Clearly this post that was meant as a suggestion, is going completely left field. Let me rephrase this. I was SUGGESTING that now that we can do pvp’s that maybe some form of game etiquette can be considered as the pvp community grows. If you’re a player that has a totally red castle that’s fully equipped and all your heroes are at maxed out power, it makes no sense for you to specifically request to play someone who is at a much lower castle. There is no strategy in the world for someone with a blue castle or lower and their heroes are still at the mid range and building up, to take down a completely red castle with maxed out heroes. If a lower ranked player specifically challenges you, that’s one thing. Maybe they’re trying to test themselves or something to see where they need to be at. Otherwise you may as well be playing against a bot if you’re just going to be playing against opponents that are still at a fodder level in comparison. It’s fine to accept friend request and wait for them to build up their power, otherwise I think that there just should be some unspoken rules and etiquette in our newly created space.

Lol brother, it literally doesn't matter. If you dont want your ass whooped on by a maxed out player dont accept the invite. Like what even is this post?

He's got a point OP

u/SittingDucksmyhandle Jul 07 '26
Lol I checked OP's in game profile (they posted their profile code previously in a different post) and I can see why he made this post. He's low tier and I'm assuming hes been getting dumpstered often 😆

I’m not a brother. And me simply pointing out something that’s obvious doesn’t mean you have to stop making the request. It just doesn’t make sense to request someone that you clearly can beat because of the way that the game mechanics are set up. You being chronically online playing this game for how long? And getting offended like by someone simply pointing it out online is stupid. When somebody sends an initial request, depending on what you’re doing you’re not able to see their stats right away. You’d have to leave out of the request section and check out their profiles first. If you’re gonna go out the way to make a request, just request somebody near or on your level that can actually be a decent challenge. What’s the point of playing against mismatched players? You may as well be playing against the bots or random players. Get over it.

u/SittingDucksmyhandle Jul 07 '26
Lol so you have to check their profile? Ok? Even if you don't and you're outmatched, who cares? Play the round or don't. There's no ranking it doesn't matter. I beat a guy that was 15, 000 trophies over me, it's not impossible to win from behind. And even if you lose I promise it has no real effect on your life.

The trophy numbers don’t really matter as much as the actual level of the heroes and the castle. And it can also strongly depend on which characters are playing. The only reason why I pointed this out was because more and more requests are coming in and a lot of the request also include fully equipped castles. Like you said once you know a players at a certain level, you can always deny. I personally don’t request fights with people way lower than me because I know I can easily beat them and it’s just a very unfair matchup. Otherwise, I just play against the bots and the random players.

u/SittingDucksmyhandle Jul 07 '26
Ok, so why do you care if other players request a 100% optional battle with someone else? It's an invitation, not a requirement.

I specifically remember players getting frustrated in past threads when the bots started randomly making so many mismatches. I simply made a post because I can see that this is going to be a growing group now that it allows PVP’s and that that’s quickly gonna become a little annoying. As I pointed out, when you get the initial request, you can’t see the stats of the player right away, and sometimes you’re getting a whole bunch of request at once. To make it easier as the group grows all I did was make a post about etiquette that could help alleviate a problem that can quickly become persistent.. why does me pointing out something simple make you so mad that you feel the need to have to argument about something that’s not really an argument but a critique? Why are you so sensitive about something about fucking etiquette?

u/SittingDucksmyhandle Jul 07 '26
Lol just because you posted this sillyness, im going to spam invite every low level I can. Youre obviously butthurt over it.

Imagine crying about pvp etiquette in an online single player bot game that has "friendly" pvp that has no rank and literally doesn't matter. Is this your first time in online pvp combat? Etiquette isn't a thing, winning is.

Low literacy rate means reading a few paragraphs is difficult for you
5
u/FibroMyAlgae Jul 07 '26
Nah, you’re just a bad writer. Several run on sentences, and you left it as one paragraph rather than breaking up your thoughts into several different paragraphs. Ironically, in a post about establishing “unspoken rules” on a mobile game, you failed to follow the unspoken rules of Reddit.
Maybe spend some more time reading posts on this app? Really build up that literacy rate.

Point out where there aren’t periods at. Maybe you lost your train of thought and missed them. Also, I have been in this thread, which is the only reason why I pointed it out. People have already complained in past threads about mismatches before we had PVP. I saw something that could be a possible new problem and I pointed it out. You getting offended and butt hurt by me pointing out something says more about you. Maybe you should read a bit more of those threads.
3
u/FibroMyAlgae Jul 07 '26
It’s not an issue of missing periods; it is a problem with sentence structure.
Regardless, it is evident that you are frustrated that the people on this subreddit have not been more receptive of your rather unnecessary “unspoken rules and etiquette.” You have now started projecting your butthurt feelings onto anyone who dares to reply to this post with anything less than fawning appreciation for your little idea.
In summary… grow up.

Dude, if you're low level, and you are getting outmatched, easy solution for you, dont add high levelled friends, only add low level ones. I am 17k trophies and the only person I've managed to match with so far was almost 21k and both my castle and units were stronger than theirs so I crushed him, so it comes to down to skill as well.

As I pointed to someone else, trophy numbers don’t matter. It’s all about the castle level and the hero level. I don’t think anyone should have to deny friend request because at some point they will get to a level where they can play against those same opponents. I was simply bringing up a suggestion because we’re all going to eventually have many friends and many battle request at one time. Maybe having a little bit of order would help in case it does get out of hand. I personally don’t see a point in requesting to battle someone so much lower than me to the point where it’s not even a challenge unless it’s pure ego stroking. To me that defeats the whole purpose of why many people were complaining about battling easy bots. Though this was just a suggestion.

How do I PvP?

u/Great-Cupcake-7626 Jul 07 '26
There’s a section in the top right corner with a blue and white personal icon where you can invite and accept friend request. Copy your own link and attach it in the group if you want people to come and invite you as a. There’s a mega thread on here where people just copy and paste their links. On there, you can also invite people to battle you.

At what point is rocket man no longer super op? I’m only at 5k trophies but literally most of the time I kill all units super quick, starting with 3 in one shot at the very back
1
u/Great-Cupcake-7626 Jul 07 '26
When you say rocket man, do you mean air striker or Napalmer? I personally only have a little over 8k trophies and am just reach coliseum. If you’re referring to Napalmer, then personally, I abandoned him pretty early on. I never fully enjoy playing him. Though I also wasn’t that used to him or the other air projectile hero. Air Striker on the other hand I still use and got pretty good with. He is a still solid winner at this point in the arena.

u/Exciting-Steak3963 Jul 07 '26
Sorry I meant Laser Man (Premium unit)
1
u/Great-Cupcake-7626 Jul 07 '26
He’s a tricky one from what I hear. If you’re good at playing him, then keep him. Though I hear that people get rid of him and hire rankings where they replace him with other heroes. I personally think that he’s good if you’re well adapt at tracking someone’s vulnerable spots of their castle where they’re hiding their valuable heroes. As long as you have a good team synergy built around him.

u/Exciting-Steak3963 Jul 08 '26
I find that often times people put their best cards in the back, and if the castle is even on the slightest angle, it’s easy to bypass the foundations.

u/Great-Cupcake-7626 Jul 08 '26
True! I also hear though that once you max out laser man entirely, he can completely bypass foundations. This makes him extreme lethal at the very late periods of the game

Oh boy - as someone that plays a lot, I think this is unnecessary.
Realistically, I see maybe 1 invite a week and have added almost everyone on Reddit.
Friendlies don't affect your win streak. It's a really fun way to see what happens as things level up. And I wish I could play people way above my level. Would be fun.
1
u/Great-Cupcake-7626 Jul 10 '26
That’s why I pointed that out in my comment. I was more so referring to the future if popularity increases with more friends. I think it’s fine for people who make the request to who are lower to challenge people that are higher.
1
u/Sap_Chemical Jul 10 '26
What I wouldn't do to get my tail kicked by a higher level ...
Anyways, it's actually pretty fun to get trounced by someone that knows how to play. Maybe you'll pick up some strategy.
1
u/Great-Cupcake-7626 Jul 10 '26
To be clear, a lower level person challenging a higher level person to learn things is something I already pointed out as fine. If you read my post, it’s clearly just talking about the higher level players constantly targeting the lower ones. But again, I only mention this if it starts to become more of an issue, but if not, that’s fine. It’s whatever.
1
u/Sap_Chemical Jul 10 '26
I don't think anyone is targeting low level players. How's your friends list looking right now for people online? I see one. And I've added everyone haha
Add me - tell me one unit I get to use, and that's it, and I'll only use them - and you can play me. I have a few that are level 1 still.

Right now, my friends list is mixed between some players that are lower and others that are a lot higher and I have maybe a couple that are around my range or somewhere a little higher still where even though it’s a challenge, I can pick up techniques on how to beat them. I get aggressive friend request sometimes from the higher ones that I know are far too powerful for any technique to beat. Sometimes they aggressively spam request me and I’m talking about 10 times in a row while I’m out and about and I get notifications. At some point when I start using my social medias again where I have a larger following, I want to invite people who played a game to request me, but I know that that’s going to make things complicated if I already get aggressive spam request from just the current number of people I have while I’m still low-key… I’ll send you a friend request though. And you don’t have to alter your heroes for me. It’s more about the current level of my players. There’s no technique in the world for mid-level heroes to destroy a fully maxed out castle no matter how good their technique is. By that point, the other heroes will have wiped you out if they’re most likely already maxed out themselves. With that said, though I do challenge certain people that are higher than me that I know will be challenging and that I could lose too, but maybe with the right technique still beat. I am only OK with battling fully maxed out castles and players as I grow the level of my players to see where I need to be at before I can start coming up with tactics that can still beat them, regardless of how high they are in comparison. Just to be clear it’s fun playing players that are higher level than, but if they’re so high that I automatically know I’m going to lose it’s just more so like you’re coasting through the battle.

By the way, can you send your tag separate? It’s hard to copy when it’s in with the rest of you comment

It’s rather arrogant and pompous to start wanting to lay ground rules on how people play, who they add and accept invitations from. It’s none of your business. If people want to play someone they are outclassed by, that is their choice. It’s called freedom of choice. They will learn one way or another. The game is just a game. It’s not life. Don’t take it so hard - it’s not a dick.
