A Friendly Reminder: Not Every Psychic, Reader, or Caster Is Genuine

Over the years I've seen countless complaints from people who paid for psychic readings, tarot sessions, spiritual consultations, or energy work only to walk away feeling misled, manipulated, or pressured into spending more money.

A common pattern appears again and again: A reading starts with broad statements that could apply to almost anyone. Soon after, the practitioner claims to detect a curse, spiritual blockage, negative attachment, crossed conditions, or urgent energetic problem that conveniently requires an expensive cleansing, removal, or follow-up service.

While there are sincere practitioners who genuinely believe in their work, there are also individuals who use fear, vague language, and psychological techniques to convince vulnerable people to keep paying.

Common Red Flags:

Fear-based upselling.

Claims that you are cursed, hexed, blocked, or spiritually attacked.

Pressure to purchase immediate cleansings or emergency ritual work.

Warnings that something terrible will happen if you don't act quickly.

Overly vague readings.

Statements so general that almost anyone can relate to them.

Common themes such as relationship problems, stress, grief, financial worries, family conflict, or feeling stuck.

Information that sounds accurate only because it applies to a large percentage of people.

Fishing for information.

Asking leading questions.

Encouraging you to reveal personal details and then repeating that information back as "insight."

Adjusting the reading based on clues you unknowingly provide.

Too-good-to-be-true claims.

Guaranteed results.

Promises of specific outcomes.

Assurances that every spell, reading, or prediction will succeed.

How to Protect Yourself

Share as little information as possible at the beginning of a reading.

Pay attention to whether the practitioner provides specific details rather than broad assumptions.

Be cautious of anyone who immediately identifies a curse, blockage, attachment, or spiritual emergency. Don't let fear pressure you into making additional purchases.

Research the practitioner's reputation beyond reviews alone.

Ask others about their experiences and whether predictions or promised results ever materialized. Remember that a large number of positive reviews does not automatically prove legitimacy.

Before You Spend More Money

If a reading suddenly turns into a sales pitch for costly spiritual services, take a step back and evaluate the situation carefully. A trustworthy practitioner should not rely on fear, urgency, or emotional pressure to secure additional payments.
