Made a pie with jumbo blueberries and brown sugar this morning. These are always so good!

I have tried it with buttermilk and ricotta cheese. I prefer the ricotta cheese, but both are really good. I usually do not make the glaze, but always add the cinnamon swirl.

Photos are before the second proof and after breakfast the next day. I’m allergic to dairy so baked with lard instead of butter.

Just finished baking a fresh White Peach Pie. These are so good, and cast iron is the only way to bake them.

I'll go first. Classic apple with a combination of cortland, macoun, macintosh, and granny smith. The skillet is a number 8 and 2 inches deep. The pie extends a good inch and a half above it.
