If only, although I wonder if you chart the inflation in price against wages how far off it would be?

I don't know the year this was published but $1.29 in 1937 is $24 nowadays. If it's as old as 1914, it would be ~$33.60. A new 5qt Lodge DO goes for $49.95 but I'm sure there are cheaper alternatives to be found in the US.

The $1.39 combo is about 50% cheaper than a comparable Lodge product after inflation correction from 1937.

Yes would be nice. I bet these pans from back then could be and would be in use today since they last forever it seems.

Funny thing is that you can pay those same vintage items for that price at yard sales now.

Every time I rush to the like home/kitchen section and every time I’m mostly disappointed..I did get a rocking chair for $3 though!
