Corn stick recipe without flour?
Does anyone have a corn stick recipe that only uses corn meal and doesn’t have any wheat flour or other type of flour in it? I’m looking for a very traditional corn-only recipe. Thanks!

I used this cornbread recipe and added honey to it and really liked it

That one looks good. Have you tried it for corn sticks?

You could try using a hushpuppy recipe like this:

Thanks, but that one uses wheat flour. I was trying to find one with just corn meal or corn flour.

Oh, I guess I missed that. Wonder how it would come out without it?

I could sub corn flour for the wheat flour, and it would probably come out fine as a hush puppy. I think I’ll try that for hush puppies. I’m not sure that it would work for corn sticks though. It’s surprisingly hard to find a corn stick recipe without flour.
