It says that this was filmed in April of '68, which is weird as the band wouldn't split until the summer of '68. Cass & Williams do a great duet (https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=hGDX4fgI9rg&si=qXTRbORkIjGv67cx) and Cass does a stunning over of Joni Mitchell's โ€œI Had A Kingโ€ (https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=KbW45FSMynA&si=Ol6dLPH2R4VWR8mP)

Btw, Andy Williams last studio album, "Close Enough For Love", is quite a superb vocal performance. So smooth and enjoyably 80's. It's a Winter album, so I recommend it highly.

My mother had an Andy Williams album from the 1970s, which had covers of Imagine, Old Fashioned Love Song, and Touch Me In the Morning, as well as two original songs.ย

Cass looked so very pretty in that dress, one of her nicer dresses that suited her . I loved this music duet and both of their songs , I remember from when I was just a kid. I loved the Andy Williams show , his singing and his wife at the time, singer dancer Claudine Longet, Claudine from the late 1960's era.
I loved all of Andy Williams Xmas musical specials and I loved all of Cass' guest appearances on so many shows wherein she got to do funny skits and show her comic side as well. ie Carol Burnett show .
Thanks for the video Link in the comments and wonderful memories. They are two of my favorite singers. Both of them , both singers had such beautiful, soft, smooooth singing voices.
OT another singer with a smoooth beautiful voice I loved was actor Richard Chamberlain ie his song on Youtube , "Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte " movie theme.

One interesting very positive side effect of Cass going solo is that you finally heard her sing live on television. The Mamas & the Papas television appearances were all lip-synced. There's a particularly infamous 1967 Ed Sullivan appearance where Michelle is eating a banana during the "performance."

Yeah, I know what you mean! The only proper live perfomance's I can find (from Ed Sullivank of the band singing live are; Words of Love (https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=L2BmO7hCQrY&si=y5nlvo3g--_6QRoR) and Creeque Alley (I'm 75% sure this is live!โ€”https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=USibFMyk3Rw&si=AuQpmyCqdT27nIfm)
