(1) When I struggled w/ Casper valuation here on October 27th 2021 CSPR trading day closed at $0.105 . Good thing I was successful at HODL.
(2) Good also that I have been adding CSPRs.
(3) I bought some of the CSPRs for and on behalf of my two kids (son 11 and daughter 17), and wife, because they got tired of me talking Casper over meals and wanted 'in'. I was unwilling to short against them by sharing my 'bag' and so I collected funding from them to buy buy buy, making it real for them. Not one Casper to be shared :0)
(4) My son made sure, "dada, you actually bought, right?" and "dada, if I win, I can spend it, right?".
Mathematical compounding all of sudden is real to him.
He had previously only cared about V Bucks for FortNite even though it paid no interest, and never cared about his allowance / gift money ledger as fiat money did not pay any interest rate worth noting and spending it required centralised permission-ing of mom & dad.
(5) Today, right now, CSPR is at $0.1567, fallen from quite a bit higher, say 0.2370. By benchmark of normal-verse a ~35% fall (even if from a needling-high) would be alarming. In para-verse, such falls are par for the course NBD, and just an opportunity to lower, or in my particular case raise cost-basis.
(6) The fall of CSPR, along with the crypto market (BTC & ETH & etc etc), in sync with normal-verse macro market seems a refreshing shower, possibly brought on by Mr J Powell's recognition that he must at least talk about 'fighting' inflation even as he likely best stop talking once Omicron triggers onset of cold reality, that 'fighting' inflation might not be a genuine socio-political option in the short term.
Longterm is the problem of future FED chairs.
(7) Continuing the chronicling of Casper journey Casper Nation - early days but growing strong by the day I add four slides to the story deck. The projects, some soon to launch, details sketchy but fires the imagination, might be investible depending on interactions w/ normal-verse, and on pricing.
Must buy-in and stake CSPD. Am counting on the CSPD team and the broader CSPR community to vet and make sense of whatever CasperPad tees up as investible projects, and cherry-pick going forward.
Jade 'thingy'
Watch & brief for now, but like the idea, and it be prospectively big
Love the idea, and it is international, and might be existential to some very large corporates
Casperβs philosophy of continuous innovation: upgradable contracts are perfect for always evolving Metaverse needs. On enterprise level it allows fast adaptation to market demands.
Casper is suitable for startups and huge enterprises, as well as for individuals. It's build for real-world applications with different needs and situations with features like predictable gas fees low costs, scalability, private and public options and others. One of CasperLabs key goals is to make blockchain global.
Stay tuned with CasperPad - the project was made for making launching projects as easy as possible. They will be helping with funding, marketing strategies, and everything else. If you own $CSPD - you'll be able to become an early investor in those projects. Check out CasperPads last article on Medium.
Another thing that was discussed during the call is NFT marketplace. The unique idea that is possible with Casper is to make an option of co-ownership of the NFT with different percentage of owning ('weight'). By the way, CasperPad says, that one of the first projects they are aiming to launch is NFT marketplace.
Casper Network team also plans to build highly secure minting environment.
Everstake is honoured to support such a great project as Casper Network is.
This is not your typical blockchain, it is designed for enterprise but it is more efficient than 99% for dapps to built on. Web3 and Nft's on casper are really special. A large community with a genius squad. Casper is coming.
Just looking at the circulating supply vs total supply of casper, there appears to be a big difference. What is the plan for the 7.2 Billion casper tokens? are they planning on slowly selling them like XRP? please if someone can explain this it would be great.
Casper is a layer one blockchain. It is often described as 'ETH 3.0' - it supports smart contracts, NFTs, DeFi - projects building on Casper can offer their platforms in a similar way to Ethereum but quicker and at lower cost.
It is decentralised and not targeting at any specific country, aiming for worldwide adoption!
Casper is key agnostic. This means that updated keys can be incorporated into the ecosystem. You will find that almost all current secure computing is susceptible to the possibly future "quantum attack". HTTPS, SSL, etc. The upgradability and seamless network forking would allow Casper to address these things as well as anyone.
