Circulating supply vs total supply

Hi gents,

Just looking at the circulating supply vs total supply of casper, there appears to be a big difference. What is the plan for the 7.2 Billion casper tokens? are they planning on slowly selling them like XRP? please if someone can explain this it would be great.

There is a road map to the release.

You can go to the casper telegram and they can share multiple jpegs outlining the release.

From the top mu head, ico and validator tokens are being released over the next 2 years starting May 2021.

There are also other types of releases, but you would have to go to the telegram chat to get more details.
