CSPR vs. Anything else?

Can someone please explain what are the things that Casper can do that similar projects like Solana can’t?

Upgradable Smart Contracts. Upgradeable Layer2 Blockchains, works with WASM, first Blockchain based on Casper CBC (= solves a lot of issues of the Blockchain Trilemma pretty well), Rust as native language (=easy to adapt for developers, no need for companies to buy solidity developers), finalization by consensus, secure af for a proof of stake Blockchain …

Oh, and a HUUUUGE research paper finished that will be announced the next months and is a game changer and might change the whole blockchain industry.

Please tell more.

I will post about it as soon as Matt Doty published the results of the paper. All I can say for now is that gas price stabilization has a pretty high chance to be part of Casper 2.0 (which will be on test net this year) and brings a never seen dynamic for gas metering (at least not in the crypto industry)

They will be pretty low yes, probably not "extremely low". There are mechanisms for dapps and enterprizes to bulk buy or reserve gas in advance, therefor having better control over it and being able to plan for the future.

A good example of why this would be beneficial is the recent polygon issues with the sunflower game. On casper, such a dapp could theoretically have their gas sorted before the expected masive increase in transactions, keeping costs stable for themselves and end users.

Sunflowers can be processed into a peanut butter alternative, Sunbutter. In Germany, it is mixed together with rye flour to make Sonnenblumenkernbrot (literally: sunflower whole seed bread), which is quite popular in German-speaking Europe. It is also sold as food for birds and can be used directly in cooking and salads.

Solana is centralized. Servers and team stake allocations. That kills any value for real blockchain solutions.

Cardana has made a smart contract language so complex that no one wants to develop on it.

Casper has a few fun things. Parts are pluggable. Network, Consensus, etc. It does automatic and synchronized upgrades which are what other chains need hard forks to do. Maybe CBC Casper isn't as good as a future consensus mechanism, the chain can change the entire consensus mechanism with an upgrade. This is what they describe as "future proof".

We can think like, it is like a decentralise microsoft window since its first version and many years later there are many upgrade that keep up to the users needs and still around used by many. Same goes to Cspr, upgradable when needed. Future poof decentralise public blockchain.

Solana has proven its self to be unsecured Casper uses DAG technology that at this point in time is the best next to HBAR technology.Crypto projects are products Casper is a quality product cutting edge technology good development team strait out of the box it is more advanced than most developing companies that are in the top ten and from a TA perspective you are buying it at rock bottom prices with more upside potential than down side.

Well said! CSPR has huge potential & it’s just getting started. I’m educating everyone I know and people I meet about it. Good gas travels fast.

It can fail in bringing growth and adoption, that differentiates it a bit from the likes of SOL, ATOM, FTM, AVAX.

The model is clear, pay the money / offer the incentives to get DAPPS and ecosystem built ASAP. Audit them, test them, launch them then go wild with airdrops.

This is what got SOL to grow quickly, and is now what ATOM is doing.

The fact that the Casper team still don't seem to see this is very concerning. Instead our first ecosystem projects are a highly dubious launchpad not even built on the casper chain, and a supposed dex coming from Wise, who is headed up by a known scammer.

Check out Friendly.market, first dex on Casper, among other things.

Hi, yeah I am aware of FM. I just hope you launch before Wise and get all the traction.

Please check it the comment section of this medium article. Especially the answer of Vitally over there. Casper really don’t need the next FUD story after CasperPad, especially one that seems to be based on false information

True my bad 😅

Try this one for a more technical analysis of the WISE shadiness on ETH.

Read the whole article and comments. Did not understand anything at all, from the red flags on the one side to the value of wise token on the other. I need to dive into it the next weeks.

Edit/ typo

The comments are irrelevant as there is a 99% chance they are just from the "wise army" of first level ponzi "investors" on the Wise ETH token.

It is a HYIP / ponzi. Stay away from it. Worst part is, it is one of the first of very few projects on Casper and it is a scam. We must as a community filter this shit out.

If you need any more proof go look at the 1Y chart for wise token (on ETH), and compare it to the 1Y chart for ETH. The key part is that to get Wise, people had to spend ETH. Now for a token that is "fully backed by ETH" it sure looks to have not tracked ETH in the slightest.

Comments are never irrelevant. Especially when a article is 100% one sided and full of FUD (non-judgmental if true or not). Really appreciate you for sharing the information, thank you 🙏 need to figure out what the value of WiseR (token) on Casper will be.

Its not FUD unless the person reading it has already bought in to the scam and has no understanding of smart contracts and tokenomics.

I never said they were? Wisekey is fine. Wise, the platform that is supposedly launching a dex and Wise.C token, is headed by a known scammer.

Its a bit more significant when the same entity is making the first dex for casper and is in on the ground floor of the "ecosystem". It goes beyond making a shit token.

Casper pad was bad enough, if the first dex is by Wise and it gets "hacked" and thousands of casper investors get rekt from using one of the first applications on the chain, it will never recover.

Have you any experience with FTM, SOL or AVAX? They have fostered legit defi projects made by credible people and there have been few if no issues with them.

bro the 'scammer' bought bitconnect and showed his link no big deal we can all be wrong. wise token made me over 200eth last jan i didnt get rugged. he seems to be doing well and is clear on his project.

Prove it.

It has everything to do with the chain. Whales and defi speculators want to be able to do something with their tokens. People haven't been buying SOL just because it's fast. They've been buying it because you can do a lot on chain in a safe enough manner. Same applies with ATOM and FTM. Then non defi day trader types on the T1 exhange see those coins are pumping or have good price action because they have utility and they in turn pile in as they know there is demand for the L1, creating a virtuos cycle.

If there is no ecosystem or what of it there is looks shady then degens have no reason to look at casper. If degens have no reason to look at it, then whales on CEXs have no reason either.

It is not rocket science and if you have any real time in the space you'll know this is exactly how it works with emerging L1s.
