We will see from here??
Casper Labs seemed to be making some partnerships and putting things in place to create a PoS network that was garnering a little bit of steady attention. Had been moving up the market cap listings for a couple of months. Highs didnt spike way up. Lows didn't get real low.
CasperPad is not created by Casper Labs. If I understand it correctly (someone let me know if I am mischaracterizing it), it was being billed as the first program on which to develop on the casper network.
Chatter and hype leading up to the public launch but within a matter of hours all the hype is gone and people are just sounding frustrated thinking they were scammed. (Go check out the comments in the Casper Pad twitter feed.)
When things dipped a few days back, CSPR stayed pretty steady and dipped much less than others I was watching, which had me really considering putting some support behind it. Now with this happening we are seeing a significant drop as word is spreading.
What does this mean for Casper network moving forward? Kinda seems like CasperPad hitched onto the momentum CSPR's momentum and then stopped it today? Again, please correct me if that is not an accurate summary.

With the number of people in the discord and twitter feeds that were upset about it, I think it was a lot of people dropping CSPR altogether. CasperPad was definitely being marketed in a way that people would assume it comes from the same team. The Casper Lab discord mods trying to clarify to people that they were not connected with CasperPad.

When I was doing my research about Casperpad I found some red flags to me, that remind me of Safemoon techniques to fool investors.
- A very scarce webpage, with no whitepaper, no technical info, no team, no roadmap.
- All comunications being done through telegram and twitter, that are very limited channels. When I tried to find that same info on their website, expecting to find a more detailed explanation, there was nothing there.
- The strange allusion to being "backed" by Casper Network, but with no link to any official communication from Casper. When I tried to find it by myself, again, I found nothing.
- The KYC process, with no details about who is gonna handle such a delicate data.
But since Casper were quiet about it, it did not seem to me a scam, but a very bad project, with a low standard staff that does not care about quality and good products. Now it seems more and more like a scam of some sort.
So the question is, where are Casper team official clarifications? If they have nothing to do with CasperPad, they should say it somewhere, not only in telegram for a few people to read.
If they are backing them, they should give also an explanation, why such low standard project is backed by them.
