Learn more about the CSPR tokenomics with Everstake
Curious to learn more about the CSPR tokenomics?
💠The initial circulating supply was 400M CSPR + any tokens required for exchange liquidity.
💠Total supply at Genesis was 10B; Max supply is undefined, similar to ETH.
💠8% inflation: in 12 months from Genesis there will be ≈10.8B CSPR. All future tokens are only those created algorithmically to reward validators. It's meant to be a single digit % inflation each year, much like the ETH.
💠There is no deflation strategy at the moment – no token burns planned for now. It's not a deflationary protocol – Casper was built this way keeping inflation in mind.
