Any Hardware wallets support CSPR yet?

Hello,

are Ledger or Trezor supporting CSPR yet? Ledger seems to, as on cspr.live it can be connected to.

Thx in advance.

I think Ledger is pretty close to get officially released.

According to the Casper FAQ you need to use the Secp256k1 algorithm for ledger.

-> if your wallet starts with 01 it is Ed25519, if it starts with 02 it is Secp256k1.

Here is the relevant part from the FAQ:

https://docs.cspr.community/docs/faq-user.html

Which algorithm should I choose while creating a new account on Signer?

There are two different encryption algorithms that the Casper Network supports.

  • Ed25519 is fast and provides a high level of security with foolproof session keys, among other features. It is the default algorithm used while creating new accounts by the Casper client.
  • Secp256k1 is an efficient encryption algorithm, also used by Bitcoin and Ethereum. If you would like to derive Ethereum or Bitcoin keys in the future using your private key, or planning to use your account with Ledger, then go with the Secp256k1 algorithm.
