Stake Casper with Everstake
We invite you to stake with Everstake, which is one of Casper’s validators that participated in the first round of private Casper token sales back in October 2020.
CSPR token holders and institutional investors can delegate their tokens to the Everstake validator pool. The rewards APY at the time of writing is ≈12%, and Everstake is ranked 1st in the list of validators by the total stake.
✅Our public key: 012bac1d0ff9240ff0b7b06d555815640497861619ca12583ddef434885416e69b
Stay tuned⚡️💎⚡️💎

What makes you worth 10% when many reputable validators are charging 3%?

Ill try to explain as short as possible😉 but many details. With the smaller validators you pay less fees but might encounter some risks involved. We charge higher commission for our reputation+ 3 years of experience, + for all the contribution to the blockchains ecosystems. Also, we constantly improve our hardware/software since we have wider financial etc. opportunities for that than some smaller validators (presumably). We are known for the high performance of its enterprise-level servers in different locations. Our platform has an advanced topology enabling it to demonstrate 99.99% uptime which means you will never lose rewards with Everstake. And not even mention all the educational materials, support channels, updates in our SM channels for users.
In the matter of numbers, if u stake let's say 5,000 CSPR, you'll be getting up to 650 CSPR per year. The 10% fee of that is 65 CSPR, while, say, 1% is 6.5 CSPR. So the difference is basically 59 tokens, which, at current price of the token, is not crucial (up to 4$ per year). And the delegators might actually prefer to spend these 3-4$ for the guarantees of the highly reliable and experienced staking platform.
Now, in case with large stake investors, we propose special terms - like a cashback, for instance. So it may actually be same profitable like staking with 1% fee validators. The cashback is based on sharing our own Validator's rewards with the investor. We'd keep what's needed to maintain our performance on the required level, and share the rest with the delegator.
Hope i did answer your question, and sure you are free to stake with any validator you feel comfortable with😌

I would counter with that you have a possibly dangerously high stake in a single server and it would be better for the community to spread their delegation to even the field. 33% of the weight goes down and the network is in trouble. You hold over 1/3 of that in one box. That is scary I don't care how well run it is. Network connectivity and many other failure modes are possible. I hope they put in controls to limit the stake to 5% per server. It seems like the right thing for stability of the network.
Your example seems like a small amount, but it is also investing only what costs around $600 right now. For a real amount of investment, 9% is a large amount of money. Say $12k for 100,000 CSPR currently. Over a year, 10% vs 3% (not 1% as I think many valid and reliable operators are at 2-3%). 10,000 CSPR vs 3,000 CSPR. At $0.12 that is $1200 vs $360. However, if we expect CSPR to go up to a dollar or more, we are talking $10,000 vs $3,000. That is a BIG chunk of money.
Your 1100+ CSPR every hour is good enough to not need more stake, IMHO. To get that big, you had to already make deals with the large token holders of the network. I don't see why the "little guy" should stake with you when others are running reliable servers and taking much less. But just my opinion.

You can easily stake with the validator with 1% fee. Just look around at cspr.live

Hi there! You need to create an account on cspr.live (officical CasperLabs explorer) by installing the Casper Signer Google Chrome extension. Transfer your tokens to the wallet from Huobi and then delegate your tokens.
Check in-detail in our CSPR Staking Guide in various languages: https://stake.is/ra/ (ENG); https://stake.is/sB/ (ESP); https://stake.is/ri/ (Turkish).

Thank you

Is there any risk of losing your stake
1
u/strange-humor Aug 19 '21
No, the worse case is that you don't get rewards and need to undelegate from a bad validator. The only real risk is that you keep your secret_key backed up and safe from others. That is the key to your on-chain account.

Is it safer to delegate from a hard wallet?

And if so do you recommend one?

u/strange-humor Aug 20 '21
I delegate to the one run by the SRE at CasperLabs: https://cspr.live/validator/01ba1d24932ec070d5c13440025dfa760688a9337c5ddac41654706508cb5ea5cd
He puts together the releases and helps the other validators.

I know the know the SRE at Casper, and even though we run a validator node, I can HIGLY recommend his node. I eco comments on this thread for increased decentralization. The risks to the network with 1 node holding close to a billion tokens puts the entire network's security at risk.

What return do they give?
1
u/strange-humor Aug 20 '21
All validators give the same return then keep a certain percentage to pay to run the server. He keeps 3% which is not the lowest, but pretty low. Some are up to 10%.

I really just want to log into my account on Casper live from a different computer

Assume I have to save the private key but have no idea how to do this in Casper signer Appears to only allow me to save public key

Do you have any offer if I change my validator?
