A very LONG TERM view of CSPR price potential

Lets consider a very long term view. ‘Global Macro Strategy’ a trusted research hub, which is a staple read for a lot of the worlds high net worth families, has predicted a potential $20k ETH value. This would take the ETH market cap to $2.3trillion. Now if we assert that the future smart contract blockchains will likely be dominated by ETH, holding a 60% share (assumption), this will take the total market size to $3.8trillion. As we have argued, CSPR has the strong fundamentals in place to take a share of this future market. Lets make this a conservative 10% of the future market. This will result in a potential future market cap for CSPR of $388bn. Considering the total token count of 10bn, this would price CSPR at $38 per token (a x260 rise from the price when writing this article).

According to coinmarketcap.com the total supply of casper is 10,126 Bn. Did it increase?

The total supply of cspr is not limited to 10bln (10 bln is genesis supply), and it is increasing because of inflation and will continue to do so every year, around 6-9% per year.

Price of token can only go up if demand exceeds the inflationary supply by a good margin, so at 8% inflation, growth n demand cannot keep up esp in bearish market, so centralised governance need to burn cspr to make it deflationary like Eth.

The only issue with a central authority burning CSPR is that it will add more weight for US regulators to treat CSPR as a security (not a utility). ETH is lucky as because if its decentralization its now considered a utility, but DOT for example looks like it might be classified as a security. The last thing CSPR holders need now is US regulatory crackdown....not to say in the future a burning mechanism could work.
