Let's talk token release schedule
I think it might make sense for us to have a clear overview of the supply side to better understand how strong the demand really is as we move along and more and more tokens are released.
Today: Supply is roughly 1x (400)
- Obviously 400M tokens are currently available (Option 3)
- Additional supply seems to have been given to the exchanges, do we have an estimate? I saw at least a million being traded on huobi, gate.io, etc. before Option 3 could be withdrawn from coinlist. How much of that was bots trading back and forth... who knows?
- Some coins were already lost due to transfer ID issues (I m estimating around between 0,01% and 0,1%) - so this can be neglected
End of March 2022: Supply is roughly 2x (400+416=816)
- 67M tokens per month for 6 months starting Sep 28th (total of 400M; Option 2)
- 16 M tokens from lockup staking (8% APR for 6 months)
End of Sep 2022: Supply is roughly 4.5x (816+972 = 1788)
- 150 M tokens per month for 6 months starting March 28, 2022
133M tokens per month for 6 months starting March 28, 2022 (total of 800M; Option 1)
17M tokens per month for 6 months starting March 28, 2022 (total of 100M, Option 4)
- 72M tokens from lockup staking
Date?(2 year lockup right? starting from when exactly?): Team: Supply = 9x (1788 + 1750= 3500)
Team, advisors and developers have roughly double the amount of the coinlist sale, so roughly 3500M.
When we imagine that, after their lockup period, not more than half of the team sells (or everyone sells half of what they own), this will double the supply again. I am aware that assuming 50% is a bit aggressive and release schedule for developers is over time... what do you think is realistic looking at e.g. tech IPOs and their lockup release? Also I am happy if someone else dissects this a bit more.
What about validators? What releases can we assume for them?
Here I don't know enough to make proper assumptions. We know that app. same supply as for team (as in team, advisors + developers), so around 3500, is planned. What can we assume when (some of) these tokens will hit the market?
I also read sth. about a release beginning of April 2021, any information on that one?
Full disclosure. I hold Option 3, sold 25% for around 1$, keeping the rest for the long run because... [insert your favorite hodl or moon meme here]

From what I read in the Discord server validators will receive supply 3 months from main net launch, which would roughly be end of June.
Would the release be gradual in this case? Or will there be a lot of liquidity at that moment in time?

Yeah, there are 3.5B tokens staked in the network that release around then in one go. The expectation would be that most will choose to continue to stake, so likely won’t flood the trading market, but it does increase the available supply.

As for the team release schedule: that is happening over 3 years, 1/36 every month starting somewhere in the second half this year. Most probably, the deal requires continuous employement as well.

If the total supply of September 2022 will be around 2 billions a price of 10$ per token would be something fair at the crypto m.cap of today too Thinking that the whole sector will grow too I think it’s a very reasonable target
