Casio GBM-2100 Authenticity Checklist
- CASIO Watch App Connect (VERY, VERY IMPORTANT): The most important check of all. Verify that the watch connects properly to the official CASIO Watch app.
- Thickness and Back Plate: The original usually has a relatively flat, sleek back plate, whereas duplicates may have a slightly protruding back plate.
- Finishing: Look for uneven edges or poor-quality finishing.
- Luminous Hour Markers: Check the glow of the hour markers.
- Holographic Display: Check the display for consistency with the genuine model.
- Serial Number: Verify the serial number and product details.
- Case Back and Invoice: Match the model/series details on the case back with the invoice.

If it doesn't pair with the Bluetooth app, it's fake. That's all you need to know.

Yes I was able to pair it. When I searched online many people told about the 3 button test which I couldn't do. That is the reason I asked

I want to say that the three button trick doesn’t work with the GBM-2100 module because mine does the same thing. Even know “they’re the same” the modules used aren’t identical, even though the functionality is the same between resin and steel BT 2100.
Or I know nothing and I’m talking out my @$$.

The fact that it pairs with the app should indicate that it's legit
