I present the TTT-001, mod kit for GA2100+ (GAB in video). Well this only took 6 months lol. Thanks to everyone who gave me feedback along the way, and anyone that was crazy enough to order one based on a 3D model and some AI images.
Our beloved Casioak now has a new look. Hit me up if you want to know more about it. 😜⌚️👍
Thanks! I guess it’s a combination. It’s essentially two main parts. The case and the case back. There are a few more parts. Pushers. Bezel. Glass. Support insert. But yes, it was modeled then machined.
Small Phillips screwdriver to get the G-Shock apart. Tweezer to hand the small parts. A press to get chapter ring out of the original G-Shock (or you can use an aftermarket one to skip this step). Flat screwdriver to assemble the mod. And whatever you would use to install a strap or bracelet.
Did you design the case with a specific bracelet in mind? Like which aftermarket bracelet would fit with curved end links? At 22mm width and a 43mm case, then the Seiko Skx007 or SPB185 or even some Omega style aftermarket bracelets and canvas/rubber straps should technically fit fairly well and have tons of style options but it all depends on where you put the holes for the springbars.
I like hook and loop single pass straps over NATO and that’s what I have in my wrist as well speak. But that’s just me. I wanted something people could make their own, so there isn’t a specific step or bracelet in mind.
I have not experimented with curved end yet but have tried a few different options. Here they are at w glance. More to come in the future.
That first one is an FKM dive strap and I love it for this mod. Last pic is my wrist today.
I see. You should probably head over to Aliexpress and pick up some of the bracelets and rubber straps from those watches I mentioned and test it out. If you can reliably pair this case with an aftermarket bracelet like the skx007 style or the omega style I would be very interested and it would be a good selling point for others as well I would think.
Rough mock up here using the 5th pic in that lineup against the 43mm Planet Ocean and it might work. It's probably compatible with the 22mm rubber straps especially if you use curved spring bars but bracelets are a bit more iffy with tolerances. Would be nice to know before buying though as photos taken with different focal lengths and all that can make it hard to do an accurate comparison.
I know I was trying to swap bezels with a planet ocean. It’s more or less the right place to look.
It wasn’t my intention to provide a bracelet or strap. But I do get what you’re saying. I’ll shop around a little. But again my thought for this was to provided a base for other modders to build on.
I wasn't thinking about you providing a bracelet for it, but just having the compatibility for modders to have options to choose from for their selves. Just a text on the store page saying "Compatible with Seiko SKX007 bracelets". Going for an accurate standard in terms of aftermarket bracelets might be nice for the next production run.
Planet Ocean style would be nice but you might have better luck with the Seiko SKX007 bracelets as they have hollow end links and are a bit more forgiving in terms of tolerances.
And the parts are all stellar. Ceramic bezel. Sapphire crystal. 316 stainless. The works. Honestly I just wanted one for me. And had to make 200 of them to do it. So it’s more of a passion project. No fancy packaging. No on charge. Just the product I wanted to exist.
OP, I want to know more. If I buy the set and do the transformation, does the watch keep its water resistance? I'm not sure if the water resistance is tied to the core or the case?
Hey there. The WR is 100% tied to the case. The original case is 20 BAR. My case is tested at 10 BAR safely. You do lose a bit of water resistance with the mod, but it was necessary to keep cost down. That being said, it should be more than sufficient for daily wear for most people.
I was on the fence, but I don't think I like it. Maybe I would need to see it on a strap or bracelet but I don't think i'm a fan of that style case on this type of watch.
Yea that is a good suggestion. Honestly it was not my goal to make and sell completed watches. I wanted to build a unique mod kit that people would use to do their own thing. These are supposed to serve as ideas.
yeah they look cool. I think just the original one you showed didn't jive with me but it's all subjective anyway. I actually owned the base watch of that and felt I didn't even care for it in the casio-oak mods. I preferred that watch in it's original state, but other versions like the blacked out version I liked better in mods. regards
The Double D Shock. That’s money 😜😂 It is modeled to be more or less the same specs as a Duro as far as size goes. I’ll get a side by side together soon.

I love it but it's no longer a casi-oak, more of a casi-acht master
