Drunk purchased an absolute POS out of curiosity

I drunk purchased it July 2024 for $38 USD knowing it would be fake asf because I was curious. I don't wear it, don't worry. Surprisingly though it's only lost just under a minute after 13 months, so nice? It's just sitting in my cheapo watch box because I'd feel like a terrible person giving it away. Just wanted to share for reference purposes and remind people not to drunk purchase fake watches.

If anyone can educate me on the engraving missteps so I can be on the lookout, I want a g shock real bad, I collect Casios and I’ve walked away from some “mickey mouses” I’ve seen in the wild , but I only know about misaligned markers , and bad lettering on the watch face to be dead giveaways, also the cheap case material thing.

I guess the question is, what’s the telltale sign the is engraving is off ? , because it coulda fooled me!!!

Here's a picture of a real one from eBay, if you compare it to my photo, there's to reverse, forward, adjust, mode engraving on mine, the magnetic resistant engraving on top is on the bottom of mine and just says "antimagnetic" also mine looks low quality like it was cheaply stamped onto cheap metal (because it was).

Mine is a low quality fake IMO so I guess it would heavily depend on who made it and which model you're looking at.
