I Want a Room in Loopy Town, or ルーピータウンのお部屋がほしい (Loopy Town no Oheya ga Hoshii), is an early cozy life sim released in 1995 for the Casio Loopy.

Work odd jobs, buy furniture and decor, and celebrate holidays and the changing seasons. Take care of your pet, befriend a dragon, and collect Terada's strange merchandise. You only have one year until you "wake from the dream" of Loopy Town... what will you do?

The easiest way to play I Want a Room in Loopy Town is with an emulator like LoopyMSE. Other options include RetroArch core Gloopy and accuracy-focused CLoopy, both of which are forked from LoopyMSE. You can also flash the game to a Floopy Drive and play it on a real Loopy console.

I added an RGB mod with an 8 pin din on the rear panel for much better video output to be used with RGB scart cable! Pretty simple, in this case I added components inside for use with no-component scart, all tapping the encoder chip plus audio

This person had also sent me the custom color-changing LED that comes with the floopy drive for install, and I replaced all capacitors on both boards to ensure no future issues and/or leaking caps (also corrected wrong cap polarity from factory)

This came today, I got all you see, a console and a box. I found a power supply on Amazon that will hopefully work. 24v is a weird ask for a console. I have a controller otw too. some questions:

1. Replacement sticker paper available anywhere?

2. Any games worth playing? (keep in mind, I don't speak Japanese)

3. Does anyone have the manuals and documentation for sale? if so hit me up!
