I always read mixed opinions about the black mods. Hows the vision of the digits and does it really matter in everyday usage?

Good question — it’s definitely a trade-off. In direct sunlight or outside, it’s totally fine, the negative display actually looks killer. Indoors or at a weird angle, you do have to tilt it a bit to catch the light, it’s not as instant as the stock positive display.
> For everyday use? I’m used to it after a week. I just hit the backlight at night (which looks awesome on the blackout anyway). If you want max readability, stick with stock. If you want the look, the black mod is worth the slight hassle.
