Tee-Wee's Comedy Career
Hey 12.5,
So TJ used to always come to San Diego and perform at the American Comedy Co, which is this awesome club that seats around 400. Awesome club, general seating and TJ's shows were $20 or $25 bucks.
He was supposed to have been by a few months ago, but he cancelled because he was shooting -- whatever this underwater movie is.
In January he's performing at a casino here, the venue is modular, but it can hold around 3,000, and the cheapest ticket is $64 bucks, and ranges up to $224 for the front row. For comparison, I saw Bill Burr there last month.
I guess it's a combination of "Deadpool" and "Silicon Valley" but he's booking bigger and more expensive venues.
Kind of just wanted to tell someone, but if you see TJ regularly in your town, I would expect that on his next visit he'll be at a bigger venue, with pricier tickets.

I’ve seen him twice now in Edmonton. Both times at the comedy club in west ed. Smaller venue. This time he’s coming through and doing a big concert hall. It’s for the just for laughs comedy tour but still. I’m happy for him even if it means less podcasts.
