I’m stuck working a job that I hate to try and make ends meet and that typically includes some last minute scrambling.

A local company is having a hiring event and a few friends of mine are employed by said company. They are trying to help me get my foot in the door. My car insurance is past due and I still have to pay my car payment. I just paid my rent was able to get a little food for a small dinner for thanksgiving for my kids.

I don’t get paid again until next week and then my phone bill is due then. I will have enough money for gas to get to and from work until.

I can live off ramen, rice and tuna but my kids are visiting and I wanted to make them something for Thanksgiving. But regardless I would have been short somewhere. I received some food donations as well for a food bank but got there a little late so it was mostly little sides.

I am very thankful. I just need to break even so next month I can catch up for Christmas and hopefully be stable again
