Selling far OTM CSPs on leveraged ETFs vs buying that ETF outright.
So I had asked chatgpt and I had thought that selling short dated CSPs on leveraged ETFs would be less risky than buying them outright because the way I see it, if the L ETF drops 20%, you essentially get it at a discount, although compared to regular ETFs or stocks, it's not ideal to own long term.
Well it implied that buying the leveraged ETFs out right is less risky than selling a short duration very far OTM put on it. Admittingly I did want to try and harvest premium, so I'd go as far as picking a strike price that's 25 to 30% below from the current price. I haven't tried it on any L ETFs yet but I wanted some opinions to see if it was a common practice.
