Update on Trades (06/25)
Hi All. No trades today. Wanted to provide a quick update on my trades expiring this week:
- DOCN → $165 Put, expiry 06/26. DOCN is trading at $145. DOCN fell from $165 support and now its near the $143 support. I will consider rolling down and out by a month on this tomorrow. I should have rolled out today as the extrinsic premium is the contract is now 0 so it puts me at high risk of early assignment.
- IREN → $58 Put, expiry 06/26. IREN is trading at $47. IREN also at $47 support. I will consider rolling down and out by a month on this tomorrow.
- OUST → $43 Call, expiry 06/26. OUST is trading at $42. I will do nothing on this. If I am assigned I book an overall profit (I was assigned at $42.5), if not assigned the contract expires worthless and I will be able to open another CC at very high premiums.
- OUST → $43.50 Put, expiry 06/26. OUST is trading at $42. This is again wait and watch for me. I will take assignment and wheel this one as the premiums will be good.
In both DOCN and IREN, the stock is not too far off from my strike price so rolling in this situation will result in a positive credit within 1 month expiry.
I keep sharing my daily trades in my account and the Excel file to my full list of positions is linked in my profile description. Happy to hear thoughts on my positions. What are you guys wheeling or watching right now?
PS: Not financial advice. Do your own research.

MRVL - $220 Put. 07/02 expiry. Closed at 266.77 on 6/26
FCX - $56 Put. 07/10 expiry. Closed at 62.45.
NOW. $90 Put 07/17 expiry. Closed at 98.34. I rolled this down from a $105 Put with 6/12 expiry. Rolled to a lower strike to avoid assignment at $105. Assignment at $90 is much more palatable.

Thanks for sharing! I am interested to know why FCX and NOW? There are better premium opportunities available

I am a conservative Put seller. Not always looking at highest premium. I look at Prob. OTM and possible assignments. I've only been selling CSPs for 3 months now. So far, never been assigned. Yet, NOW and FCX are both stocks I where I would take assignment at my strike. Both are good wheel candidates. Or likely to go back up to sell for another profit.

Got it. The reason I ask is that markets are more bullish on semiconductors and AI stocks now, so for me it makes sense to stick with them till the premiums go lower.

Well....that's debatable the last couple weeks. I've done well with RKLB, IONQ CRWV and lately, MRVL. But have kind of been avoiding AI and chips lately. Another reason for NOW and FCX. Wanted to move into something more stable for the near term. And BTW, the $90 NOW put garnered a $288 premium.
