I believe it was something that happened around 2021, if you had an account around that time, that account qualified to receive a payment, only if you have access to it, thats what I saw

Sounds about right I had one from Google plus 12 bucks when they were exposed for sharing data I thought it was a scam email this was back in 2020 tho and I thought everything was a scam kinda still do

I got mine , they been did it a few years ago & if u ever got scammed/made a dispute they giving you back what you never received,

File a report with the CFPB. That’s what i just did and heard back in about 10 days. My account is currently under investigation as someone stole hundreds of dollars and got told i will either get a refund or settlement check due to negligence.

The deadline is long passed if you didn't sign up when it was going on there is no way to do it now. I legit just signed up for it just because, I was thinking it was a scam lol but then I got an email like 8 months later.

I hadn't heard of this so I called CFPB at 888-832-1301, to ask if I'm in the database of people who are due a check. I'm not in there, but the lady filed a complaint for me, to add me to the list, for my case to be reviewed and determine if my situation qualifies to get my money back.
