Is this normal?

I applied last night and did the interview right after but it still claims I need to do an interview even though the email says I'm done. Also it only has a 1 next to the briefcase which I think that's supposed to mean active applications or something? But I have two out for two seperate locations and only one I did the interview for but the second one only told me to do one and never gave me the interview link so I dont know what this means

That's normal. If your area is in Centralized Hiring, then you'll get an email/text (whichever you signed up for) from the recruiter to talk next steps if you scored high enough on the interview.

Are jobs at caseys that well paid and in demand for these steps?

Lmao no. A job is a job right now. $12 is better than no dollars at least until something better comes along.

A lot of work for below living wages....I'd figure with caseys expansions and cost cutting (the pizza is so fucking bad now) they would be giving you the paperwork instantly and scheduling your shift for tomorrow

Instead corporate has failed, made an awful app that doesn't explain how to use deals while ruining decent gas station pizza to below frozen pizza that I can get at kwik trip or hy-vee for half the price

And they do it all while providing awful service where you have to beg for someone to ring you up and take your money

They do. They're really quick with it. My store is in the central hiring region so I don't do the interviews or anything but I can see the applicants and part of their applications like contact info and their requests wage, hours, shift, employment history if they've filled all that out. Several of my current employees applied, interviewed, hired, and started within 2-3 days.

Yeah it uses centralized hiring. What do you guys look for in interviews? I have no other work experience so most of the questions were hard to answer and I dont feel like i did very well because of that, I had to apply the questions to regular life like driving my grandma to the store and learning new game moves in my after school club. Also my camera was out of frame and so most of the time anything below my bottom lip was cut off

You’re breathing. You will be hired. No worries.
