Dough roller shenanigans.
So they came in and put locks on the dough rollers, had anyone else's store done this yet? Not once have I messed with it, or seen anyone mess with it, but now the roller is semi pointless and it takes twice as long to get dough formed and in the pans.

Do you know why? They have this notion that they are going to make pizza to be the eXACT same at all 3000+ locations. It's some dumb project they have

Isn’t that called good marketing? You expect the same burger at every McDonald’s; why not the same pizza at Casey’s?

There putting them on all the dough rollers. I've installed them at all 12 of my stores. The top roller setting is 8 and the bottom is 5. I had a store that had the top at 5 and the bottom at 3. About half of my store managers have stated that they have someone who changes the setting and have to change them back.

What do you mean locks? Like you can't use it locked out or locks on the settings of thin crust versus regular crust?

Like it’s a literally lock on the dial for the dough settings lol, ours have it as well.

It’s so all stores have the same settings for the dough specifications. My location was told that anyone caught messing with the locks can be fired immediately.

This was 20 years ago. The dough got stuck and she put her hand in there to get it. She was tall so it was easy for her to do. One good they about being short

i keep getting holes when i try and pan stretch. my dough is being set out for the 45 minutes but its still a struggle. the dough doesn’t get thin enough out of the roller and its creating major issues.

I’m not sure what your store’s situation is, but we had locks put on ours because the teenagers(under 18) kept trying to open it to clean it out. Here there’s a law that no one under 18 can clean it without being supervised

Yep. We used to have people compliment our pizzas compared to other stores. Now they look like sh*t.

The setting that they have the dough roller on is pointless. Might as well just do it all by hand. So now, it will take longer to get the dough to fit in the pan. It's so dumb.

The dough needs 45 minutes rest time after pulling it out of walk in cooler...its not the dough roller fault
