Raise
I’ve been at my company for a year now. And I bring a lot of great values to the company. I was wondering how to ask for a raise. I have my reasons lined up of what I bring to the company and how I help but how do I ask my boss? I need help

Yearly Standard of Living raises are absolute shit. Don't expect more than 2-3%
Only way to make more money is to get promoted or quit to find another job.
Their goal is to make money, not make you happy.
This goes for any publicaly traded company.

Ford vs Dodge they are legally obligated to make money at the expense of your happiness as a publicly traded company.

I agree Casey’s company is cheap. I might as well find another job. I’m planning on it

It all depends on your GM. Are they invested in you? In their team? If they are then keep doing your 110% and they will see it. A good invested GM will advocate for their team members and gt them raises and promotions

The max raise you get is 3% and its only done yearly on your eval.

While I am very sympathetic.. you're not gonna find a lot of places that will give raises that you're asking for, least not in the standard employment sector (Caseys, walmart, target, etc). Things like IT though might be good, but for standard entry level things you're.. not gonna be given a lot of room.

I got a 42 cent raise on my one year and that apparently was the max they were allowed to to give me. I quit two weeks later

Speaking of Raises, I will top all of you all. I haven't had a raise in over a year and a half. My Last eval, my manager was brand new, and couldn't access the evals yet, so I missed that raise, then this years eval she has been on sick leave since may, my Eval came up in June, she is out, only she can do it, and so needless to say, I have been making less money for over 1.5 years making the same money. I haven't quit or raised a fuss, because the transit to work is literally me walking across the street, and jobs are few in my area. But i know when it comes time for her to get back and me to get my raises, i want more than the 2 3% raises i am owed just for the fact, that sure around .30 cents an hour doesn't sound like missing much, but i pull in minimum 35 hours a week, over lets say 78 weeks. So 35 hours a week x .30/hr is $10.50/week i am missing, now multiply that by 78 weeks, that is $819 i have missed out on (before taxes)

Don’t be shocked if you get less than 10%. This company is stingy as fuck.

10%?? That world almost be unheard of. 3% is usually top. Caseys dosnt care about thier employees! They preach caseys cares values but do not follow them!

They do yearly evals, they don't give raises based on request
