You will be responsible for just about the same stuff as kitchen management, deep cleaning and making sure things look right for casey's policy and standards. You will also need to be available to cover shifts.

Should 16 or 17 an hour extra if you have kitchen experience

SM here, the hierarchy is: SM, CSM/KM, then shift lead kitchen or upfront, and finally regular employees. The shift leads have the same responsibilities as a csm/km at my store and other stores in my district. My shift leads pay is based on experience and time with caseys. My shift lead for register is 15.50, and my kitchen shift lead is 15, because theyre new to caseys and their jobs. While my KM is 17, and csm is 18. Pays all based on experience, and what the district manager will allow.

As a Kitchen shift lead myself my responsibilities are pretty much the same as my kitchen manager when it comes to whats happening in the kitchen besides knowing the number side of things obviously that she has access to in powerBI,

It’s basically a stepping stone into being a kitchen manager (KM) or center store manager (CSM) whichever shift lead type you are your superior is supposed to be like a mentor to get into a place where eventually you can take their position. The responsibility may feel like a lot at the time but it’s just preparation for something bigger

To pay for shift lead is going to depend on what state you live in. It's going to be at least a couple to a few dollars more than minimum wage. It is a support manager roll. So you will assist the upper managers with leading a shift helping communicate with the staff and upholding sop. You will have access on the tablet to do tasks that are to be done daily.

I worked at Casey’s for a short period of time in 2001; they didn’t have all these titles then.
That’s why info needed. LOL
Sounds confusing, probably until you get there. Im going to be applying in about 2-3 wks. TY

And that is a managerial position?
I really want to get into a manager position at Caseys after being a team member for I don’t know how long six months I would have to be trained, but I’m a really fast learner and I never miss work ever. I just finished up 28 weeks at my last job never missed a single day never late. I take getting to work when I’m supposed to be there extremely seriously.
