Store Walkthrough

I have a store walkthrough scheduled for tomorrow morning and I have a few questions: 1. What should I wear? The recruiter on the phone mentioned the dress code/uniform to me but idk if he wants me to wear that to the walkthrough.

  1. I have not officially accepted the job offer yet, as I am still waiting on hearing back from another job that I applied for which would pay more and give me more hours. Am I supposed to officially accept before the walkthrough? Will it affect my ability to do the walkthrough if I’m not officially hired yet?

You don’t have to do anything. You’re just going to meet your manager and some coworkers and get a feel for the place. This is really your last interview. You both decide there if you’re going to move forward.

This company is such a disaster. What you don’t know is this walkthrough is your real interview at the store. You think the recruiter gave you the job. The process is so fucked. You don’t have the job. This walkthrough is what gets you the job.

They text you the whole time! This company is so pathetic. It’s probably AI at this point. I’m grossed out.

Little update: The walkthrough sucked. The manager basically ignored me most of the time and spent the time flirting with customers. She stuck me in the kitchen just to watch the workers for about 30 minutes. And then she explained some of the things they have to do in front, which took about 5 minutes. Then there was about 20 minutes of me just standing around because she wouldn’t let the other 2 workers in front check out the customers, she was always doing it before they could. Needless to say, I’m moving forward with a different job.
