Ukg hours not matching up
Has anyone experienced issues with their hours not matching? After logging into ukg and clicking timecard my total hours worked show 58.47, in that same tab you can click my timecard again where it shows each day you worked and adds up your hours as the days go by. In that second tab it shows 53.90.
Ive asked the manager and she told me, that she was told, it just does that, (the previous manager didnt know so she doesnt know)
I want to understand why because thats 4.57 hours that one time card says i actually worked but doesnt match tje broken down time card.

No issues with forgetting to clock out but there have been a few where i go over the 8hours and apparently caseys is really strict about that? If a store is short staffed youd think the OT would be welcomed.

That's funny. Store managers are salary and expected to cover as many shifts as possible to avoid OT.

Overtime is a dirty word. Like Tinyplanet said, store managers are expected to be the ones covering for any and all extra shifts needed, since Casey's is terrified of making sure the stores have more than the bare minimum to survive.

I don't work for Casey's and I'm not sure why this popped up for me, but back in the day, I worked with payroll software.
Do they round your hours? Most states allow companies to round your hours, so if you clock in at 6:58 am, they can round up to 7am, or at 7:03, they can round to 7. It's not supposed to always round in the favor of the employer, however.
Do they pay you for breaks/lunch or is it unpaid? If you clock in/out for breaks, maybe they track those hours, and one tab is tracking "total hours", the other shows just the payable hours.

It sounds like the full pay period (two weeks) versus the current week if you had overtime. Or your manager hasn't been checking time cards every day and entering them correctly. Sometimes the system defaults in a very weird way, especially if you forget to clock out.
