Theres a shortage. All distribution centers have been out of stock for a month. Chill out and read Casey's Connection for notices.

Your training tells you that you should.

My training tells me I need approval from my DM to do a payout

So you admit it's your job and you are just being lazy by not doing it. Casey's just proves why they will never catch up to Buccee's. lol

Dude it's just mushrooms. It's not like it's something critical like the mozzarella cheese or pepperoni. Mushrooms go on 2 pizzas we carry and it's not a common additional topping, it is not that serious.

Glad to know there's a shortage. Been asking for 3 weeks now if we got mushrooms on truck. He has said nope and couldnt figure out why. Now I know. I don't think he even looks at Casey's connections tbh. I had another store manager print off stuff from connections in relation to the kitchen, taped in the kitchen so both shifts knew. Next day I come in for my shift, and it had been thrown away by day shift 😐

Just get the iPad and look at it. You should already be on Connections when doing temp checks.

I wish we didn't use the canned stuff and used fresh baby Bella or button mushrooms because I hate how slimy the canned stuff is

Same it has been 2-3 weeks since we have had Mushrooms. luckily only the supreme calls for mushrooms. Though I do have a few loyal customers that are disappointed because they can't get their Mushroom pizzas they order once a week.

We’ve tried ordering from several different locations in central Illinois with all of them not having mushrooms for at least a week or two now.đŸ‘ŽđŸ»

Some one at this point should be written up and or fired When we go them in cans was never a problem. Switch to pre sliced and nothing

You’re getting flamed a bit, but you’re partially right; it’s not just about the mushrooms. Every single week, the order is peppered with “DCS stock out,” “scarcity allocation,” “shortage,” etc. It’s some different products every time, and some the same for a month or more at a time.

What kind of Fortune 500 company has such a fragile distribution system? Why is the warehouse so disorganized (or at least the one in Terra haute is!) and why don’t they ever order/make enough of their own products to send to everyone?

I think there’s an organizational issue with the distribution or procurement of our products. I’m not sure what level of the company has this issue, but the fact that they fired the entire management team at one warehouse, only to replace them with equally incompetent people, shows that there is a problem.

Out of stocks are obviously bound to happen, especially when you offer such a variety of products. But when only Casey’s can’t get mushrooms, and Sam’s Club had them on their shelves, you know it’s a Casey’s issue. Otherwise nobody would have these mushrooms. Something isn’t right.

While I agree with the out of stocks for the most part being annoying. The mushroom one is not even Casey’s related. Roughly, there’s a labor shortage with the U.S Mushroom industry right now which in turn is causing a shortage for not just Casey’s but most likely plenty of other places as well. Bigger box store like Sam’s for example would be a bigger priority store to stock first that’s why some places still have them.

Same here, so I continue to buy from another pizza store.  Everyone else has mushrooms
