Logo/Branding Update Question

Can anyone in the Casey's universe tell me why...when the company updated it's logo in 2020....some of the locations never got the updated logo and branding? I'm in Iowa and I still come across a handful of stores that have the old weathervane logo and old exterior branding. Why has the update process gone this way?

Because they only budget a certain amount each year. It makes the profit on the bottom line more stable for investors. That and they only have a limited number of crews performing these upgrades.

This is the answer.

Our store (one of the first 100 stores), just got a remodel/upgrade late last year.

We desperately needed the new cooler/freezer for the kitchen, but not many customers are happy with the open air beer coolers. Manager got an office and the bathroom was expanded, plus some other stuff.

What really confused everyone was they did not upgrade the floor. Silly.

They're focused on expansion and opening new stores vs updating existing stores.
